Now that the weather is getting better some of the residents at Alexander House took a trip out on the mini bus to the Seagull Trust's barge at Ratho. The Seagull Trust is a charity which takes disabled and infirm passengers for trips on the Union Canal. The barges are operated by volunteers. Tea and coffee was provided by the Trust and the cook at Alexander House provided a picnic for the residents to enjoy on their trip. Everyone agreed that the day out was very enjoyable and a great change of scene.
