Residents at Craigie House and Alexander House, adjacent Care Homes owned by Kingdom Homes Ltd in Crossgates, have been making sure that this year's annual Festive Fete will be a cracker.

"We have all come together to make Christmas cards and stocking fillers for the Fete which will take place on Saturday (29/11/2008) between 2 and 4 pm," explained Craigie resident Andrew Adam.

"Kingdom Homes' care director Margaret Smart has very kindly baked a special cake for the event and we have lined up a whole host of other attractions including tombola, the usual stalls, face painting and other kids activities.

"Families and friends will be joining us, of course," Andrew continued, "but we are also hoping that members of the public will also come along to take part in what promises to be a great afternoon."
